Mythos

Objective

MythOS is a note-taking application and productivity platform developed to support Personal Knowledge Management and collaborative document workflows within a unified, context-rich environment. Designed as a comprehensive "Single Source of Truth," MythOS combines features such as a daily memo for journaling, wiki-style organization, and real-time collaboration.

The platform employs a modular memo structure inspired by the Zettelkasten method, enabling users to organize, link, and reference ideas with deep contextuality across a networked knowledge base. Central to its architecture is a tripartite system: Memory, which serves as the living library anchoring information and providing referenceable context; Mind, which defines classification, workflow, and validation processes for effective engagement; and Mouth, which facilitates the outward communication of insights across diverse channels like email, text messaging, and webchat. This structure allows MythOS to eliminate the fragmentation that often results from using multiple disconnected tools, empowering users to search and connect notes seamlessly across personal, team, and public spheres.

Forthcoming features include browser extensions and mobile tools for at-mentioning memos in any context, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to flexible, context-aware communication. By integrating principles of networked thought and dynamic linking, MythOS positions itself as more than just a productivity app—it is a personal wiki and digital companion that enhances creativity, coherence, and long-term knowledge synthesis while laying the groundwork for AI-assisted workflows.

Subjective

I built the first version of MythOS within One Studio out of a sense of frustration with existing knowledge tools that made me split my attention and repeatedly copy information just to maintain continuity between private reflection, team collaboration, and public publishing. The desire to truly own my narrative—without compromise or context loss—drove me to create something unified. Building MythOS was my first real step toward cultivating a digital memory robust enough to support delegation, focus, and creative flow, no matter the audience or channel. I wrote fifty million of words of content before ChatGPT launched.
