A** living system** is an open, self-organizing life form that interacts with its environment. These systems are maintained by flows of information, energy, and matter. Some scientists have proposed in the last few decades that a general living systems theory is required to explain the nature of life. @MythOS was designed as a living system; each interaction with a @memo, each itself a kind of @Living Document, affords an opportunity to progress or revise what's communicated within.
