The language of "I'm looking for" and "I want to find" is abundant in dating profiles and represents an expense of energy; @filling space. As an intention, this represents one pulling another into a space that might still be occupied. The significance of this becomes apparent when we contrast that method of courtship with a very different activity, the @practice of @making space. When we make space, the universe seems to call in the energy to fill it. Inspired by the magic that, with this practice, has manifested at our bi-weekly @Symposium, this #affirmation was born:
I am @making space for @love, and for @Love.
I was gifted this affirmation by @The Birthday Girl in a conversation after our @Fucking Farewell where she knew and adapted my @making space affirmation and suggested I adapt it for love. I did, and two months later, I was introduced—at Symposium nonetheless—to @Chantle Edillor, who I later married. While our love didn't last, it did fill the space I made at the time and thus reaffirmed the power of space making. NOTE: Add "a physicist agrees with my dating strategy" revelation
