Mythos

The Birthday Girl (TBG) is the pseudonym for my romantic partner in @The Eternal Tryst. The name was first used as the title for an entry in my journal, the day after her 30th birthday party, reflecting on our transition from 'just friends' to 'friends with benefits'. Nearly two years later, as our tryst gave way to memory, the name was reborn in @Bounded By Impermanence (newsletter).

"It started with a kiss. How did it end up like this?" ~ The Birthday Girl (and The Killers)

In the time we shared, we made space for each other to grow in ways that we can only reflect upon on in hindsight. Our growth ultimately enabled us to see that our casual relationship was preventing us from @manifesting our @Perfect Partners and, so, we celebrated its end with a @Fucking Farewell. The work we put in has enabled us to remain friends to this day; and to have both manifested our perfect partners. The #birthday-girl@memos are my @reflections of our relationship; many of which are (highly) edited versions of journal entries from the moments that prompted them. I share these stories here—with her knowledge and informed @consent—to support others in similar transformations.

Character

The Birthday Girl gave exceptional gifts and, for my birthday, she secretly snapped photos of my walls and made a collage of @My Storyteller Consciousness. It hangs in my kitchen and still makes me @Mmm. 043309_birthday_girl_art.png
