"Mmm" and derivations thereof are the audible sounds I often make when something is of @resonance. The @Tower of Babel is a, as @Charles Eisenstein puts it, "a warning about trying to reach the infinite through finite means." Words are limited, often times sounds are more resonant with the truth of things. More and more frequently, I find myself responding to texts from friends with audio recordings of the sound their last message elicited from me; anything else feels inauthentic to communicate. I am grateful for @Emily Schmidt who prompted the "mmm" that made this @memo; months after its creation, she sent me the most @magical letter which I've shared below with her permission:
