Michael, founder of The Play, has multiple credible allegations against him. The post below is one, and it was sent to me by a friend who’s on their Production team who described her own experience (him tickling her ass while they were in a meeting). She also shared her friend’s experience of him interrupting a conversation mid-party and pulling her friend into a laundry closet under the auspices of “needing to talk work stuff” then locking the door and forcing himself on her to make out with her. I, personally, had my own experience where he violated his own rule of asking for consent within 6 ft. when he sat pressed up against me while I was mid-aftercare, put his hand on my leg, and started asking for event feedback (both myself and my play partner were naked and just having wrapped a heavy impact scene). My housemate’s friend briefly dated him and later found out that he was hiding her from his wife (he then pretended not to know her when they were in shared space). Those are four stories… there are more.
