Teddy is the HydroFlask water bottle that entered my life in 2012 and has stayed faithfully by my side ever since. Teddy's dents, chips, and scratches are each a memory; something that is itself a reminder that it's our struggles that make our character. In addition to his scars he dons reminders for me to be present.

Stickers

'Be Here' is a sticker from CAVA that reminds me of the book, and wisdoms within, @Be Here Now. The 'this is your life' sticker was included in the welcome packet with my @Holstee Membership and triggers the memory of the wisdom in @The Holstee Manifesto. The more recent addition is the reminder, created with @My Label Maker, that 'words are finite, the universe is infinite' which nods to @Charles Eisenstein's reflection in @The Ascent of Humanity who said, "the @Tower of Babel is a warning about trying to reach the infinite through finite means." A reminder that words are inadequate tools for conveying experience of this universe, and they are by no means the only tools we have.

Naming

Teddy was named when an ex-girlfriend carried him for fifteen hours amidst her first acid trip and—when asked if she wanted to put it down—responded, "No! He's my soother. He's my Teddy!"
