Objective
VivoBarefoot is a British footwear company founded in 2012 by Galahad and Asher Clark with the mission of promoting natural movement through minimalist shoe design. Rooted in the belief that the human foot is inherently strong, stable, and adaptive, the brand develops shoes that replicate the barefoot experience while providing protection for modern environments. Its products feature thin, flexible soles and wide toe boxes to encourage sensory feedback and proper biomechanics. VivoBarefoot also integrates sustainable practices into its production, including recycled materials, regenerative business models, and repair initiatives, aligning its design philosophy with ecological responsibility and long-term foot
Subjective
When I'd mentioned that I was looking for new everyday sneakers, Seth Cooper enthusiastically showed me his VivoBarefoot collection. Having worn a pair of Merrell's barefoot shoes to run for hundreds of miles between 2012 and 2015, it wasn't a hard sell. When I first looked on Vivo's website and saw one paid for nearly 50%, I clicked. When I saw that the only pair they had left was in my size and with a rainbow color-way... I snatched them up immediately and have loved them ever since.
