Mythos

Universal Thriving Income (UTI) is a spiritually-oriented reinterpretation of @Universal Basic Income (UBI), reframing the concept as a form of unconditional energetic abundance rather than solely material support. Drawing on the structure of UBI—which proposes regular, equal payments to all individuals without means-testing or work requirements—Universal Thriving Income adapts the language and format of economic policy while playfully subverting its aims. In this formulation, the focus shifts from meeting basic needs to fostering a collective sense of thriving, well-being, and interconnected prosperity. Rather than being distributed through government transfer payments, UTI suggests a metaphysical distribution of support, inviting participants to imagine abundance as an intrinsic human birthright. The term intentionally invokes the initials “UTI,” echoing the irreverent spirit and light-hearted critique behind its creation. The concept has circulated in conversations among spiritual and entrepreneurial communities, especially as a response to the limitations of “basic” paradigms, and serves as a commentary on the evolving discourse around sufficiency, thriving, and communal uplift. In reflecting on the energetics of a UBI, @Nick Barone said, "basic isn't sufficient, I want thriving!" to which I responded, "Nick are you asking [@One Inc] to create a Universal Thriving Income? You want us to give everyone UTIs? Done!"
