Ignacio Michael Ibarra is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) of @Ape AI, a fintech company focused on democratizing trading insights through AI. Ibarra’s career spans high-impact roles in both established tech companies and early-stage ventures. Prior to Ape, he served as a Senior Product Manager at @eBay (2022-2024) focused on shipping and led product for the advanced trading vertical at @Gemini (exchange) (2021-2022), a crypto exchange founded by the @Winklevoss Twins. He also founded “fetch,” a self-employed tech initiative, and held a technologist role at Verdant Services, which was later acquired. Earlier, he operated remotely from China as a Product Manager for a stealth crypto derivatives startup. Ibarra holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Physics from Pacific Lutheran University and is fluent in both English and Spanish. I was introduced to Ignacio by @Faizan Sattar when we started working together on growth for @Ape AI.
