Ariana Katz is a socio-behavioral qualitative #researcher based in @Los Angeles, CA, currently serving as a Senior Qualitative Researcher at RTI International. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and @LGBTQIA+ health, utilizing intersectional, person-centered, and pleasure-based approaches. Katz holds an MPH in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has conducted multi-national research in sub-Saharan Africa and the U.S., focusing on PrEP, microbicides, and long-acting HIV prevention. She is deeply involved in equity and inclusion work, chairing LGBTQIA+ initiatives at RTI and contributing to internal @Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. Her background includes significant contributions to research design, training facilitation, and capacity building across global health domains. Arianna and I met through our @Gourmet Club. I admire the hell out of Ariana. She has this wild mix of deep emotional intelligence and razor-sharp analytical skills that makes her feel like a bridge between systems and stories.
