Mythos

Tranquility, by @Longeviteas, is a caffeine-free tea for nighttime use—or anytime calm is needed. Its recipe includes seven herbs found—by way of peer-reviewed scientific studies—to exhibit anti-anxiety, anti-stress, and anti-tension effects. Valerian, eleuthero, passion flower, lemon balm, chamomile and lavender have all been found to have these effects, while wild jujube seeds (known in Chinese medicine as Suan Zao Ren) have been shown to decrease insomnia.

Research

Valerian, eleuthero, passion flower, lemon balm, chamomile and lavender have all been found to have these effects, while wild jujube seeds (known in Chinese medicine as Suan Zao Ren) have been shown to decrease insomnia. The calming effects of these ingredients appear to operate by boosting the neurotransmitter GABA (so don't drink Tranquility and drive).

Review

I, personally, have started drinking Tranquility most nights before bed to help aid sleep as cannabis, which I'd used previously to abate mind-racing insomnia, had been messing with my REM. The sleep data below was shared with @Jessica Cail after she had gifted Tranquility to a colleague who (before) had struggled with insomnia. She started drinking Tranquility before bed (during) and saw a substantial increase in the quality of her sleep. When she rant out (after), her old sleep patterns returned and she promptly ordered more tea. 82e8971.png
