Mixer-up Day is a silly project name for what Emily Schmidt originated as a day of non-traditional communication.

I agree. We get so caught up in our habits that we forget to explore and create outside of them. Having a group commitment, or monthly personal commitment to experiment with the unfamiliar as a means to expand One's perspective.
