Founded in 2009 as an @IAC subsidiary, the company consolidated platforms including Match.com, @Tinder, @OkCupid, @Hinge, Plenty of Fish, Meetic, and Azar. Match Group was spun off as an independent public company in July 2020. As of 2019, it served nine point three million subscribers globally, with North America as its largest market followed by Japan, generating revenue through subscription fees and in-app purchases across its dating applications portfolio.
