In December 2025, Clay became available as a software integration within ChatGPT. The integration embeds Clay's Go-To-Market (GTM) data enrichment directly into the ChatGPT interface. It allows users to conduct account research and locate specific contacts based on filters such as job title and location, accessing premium third-party data that is typically paywalled. Beyond search, the tool utilizes an AI research agent to analyze prospect context—such as headcount shifts or hiring trends—and draft hyper-personalized outreach emails. Currently, the integration supports people search specifically and operates on a credit consumption model shared with the main platform.
