Objective
Jennifer Gunsaullus, PhD, or "Dr. Jenn", is a #sociologist, #sexologist, #author, and mindful intimacy coach. She is a frequent #speaker about sexual consent, healthy relationships, erotic play, sexual empowerment, sexual health, and mindfulness. [1][2] She has twice presented TEDx Talks, her In the Den with Dr. Jenn educational video series has 1.5 million views on YouTube, and she is a featured expert in the documentary on masturbation, called Sticky: A (Self) Love Story.
Gunsaullus is a co-host of 'Sex Talk with Clint & the Doc'; an edutaining podcast talking about the latest sex research, funny facts, relationship tips, and sexual commentary. She is also a #writer on sex and relationships; her first published book, From Madness to Mindfulness: Reinventing Sex for Women, was published by Cleis Press in August 2019. She has been a Sex and Relationship Expert for San Diego news outlets; including Wake Up San Diego, Fox 5 News, and San Diego Living. She is a philanthropist with Women Give San Diego, the founder of World Sexual Health Day—San Diego, and executive team for Sex Positive San Diego.
Additionally, as a martial arts practitioner, she was promoted to black belt in Soo Bahk Do (Korean karate). She also has a sense of humor, saying "I'm a sociologist, we're like professional buzzkills."

Jenn and I were connected in 2013 by my friend, Sarah Hendel, who Jenn had met in San Diego through Sarah sister's best friend with whom Jenn had played dodgeball.
In August 2019, at her book reading, when Dr. Jenn asked me who she should address her signing to I said "make it out to 'You' as I'll probably gift to someone it after I read it myself." This is what she wrote:
