Café Gratitude is a conscious restaurant chain in Southern California with plant-based menus that is known, in part, for each item being ordered with an @affirmation. It is the owner's expression of "a world of plenty" and "a celebration of our aliveness." In August 2019, while present for @Peter Szalontay's first experience of Cafe Gratitude, we had the lovely Ginny Hebert as our server. Over the years, I've been to Cafe Gratitude more times than I care to admit and Ginny delivered what was, for me, the most kind and welcoming context for the space. After our meal, I shared @Spiritual Bro and hinted at where the @Spirit Check extension had been inspired by my time spent at Cafe Gratitude.
